I was on my way to getting my hair done and I was starving because it was right at the 4 hour mark since I’ve last eaten.  I therefore ran home and grabbed two 4 oz cod steaks from the freezer and cooked an amazing meal for both me and my girl Shirin.  She is looking to learn about some healthy meals that she can easily make herself.  She won’t do the at home meal delivery service, and she is sick of the local options that I’ve previously given her.  And so, I have brought her a quick JZ FITNESS approved meal that took me under 20 minutes to prepare and was both filling and yummy.

All I needed was a disposable togo box, and a second portion of what I was making myself.  Realize that the best way to anyone’s heart is through good cooking.

This is easy.  And, like I write in tool #100 of my book, Breaking the Chains of Obesity, 107 Tools, it is great to be the healthy leader amongst those you know and love.  This is how we can truly break the chains of obesity in this country.  We need more healthy leaders like you.

Here’s what you get:

  1. Frozen wild caught cod
  2. Broccolini
  3. Coconut oil
  4. Capers
  5. Organic spinach
  6. Avocado
  7. Lemon
  8. Fresh Garlic

What to do:

Cook the cod in 2 tbsp of coconut oil.  Add fresh lemon squeeze along with capers and garlic.  Once the fish is almost cooked through, then start a separate pan with the veggies.  You can steam them, nuke them, or bake them.  Your choice.  Add fresh lemon and spice to those and you can even put a teaspoon of low sodium low fat butter on them before cooking them.  Once the fish is cooked through, and the veggies are cooked (do not overcook them), then you are good to go.  Simply add the ingredients together into the container and make it pretty-perhaps add lemon slices to the mix.  Presentation is everything, right?

Enjoy, and even more so, enjoy helping me get this country fit, starting with yourself and everyone YOU love!
