Trader Joes on fast food fridays
For all you chronic readers of www.jzfitness.com, you realize by now that I frequent both Trader Joes and Whole Foods on a regular basis. As I state in Breaking the Chains of Obesity, 107 Tools, you must treat your body like a temple by feeding it with the right type of nutrition, consistently. Life isn’t about being on a diet. It is more about feeling the effects of healthy eating and earning the desire to eat healthy because you want to feel good. When you diet, you restrict yourself from enough calorie intake and most starve their bodies from the right caloric intake for the day. This never works. When you read my book, you will see that eating healthy never leaves you hungry.
Don’t be too busy for yourself. Have a plan. I write this posts because I want to continually educate you on what you can eat to help satiate you, and help you feel amazing mentally, physically and emotionally. You and I both know that when you eat poorly, you don’t feel good. So then why do you do it? Habit? Addiction? Pleasure? Whatever your mind has wrapped around, you must break that thought process by entering into the gateways of eating right so that you can feel what I’m talking about.
So for this Friday, no excuses, but I felt in my heart that because Trader Joe’s provides such delicious ready-to-go salads for busy people, I thought I would educate you on the salads that have the JZ stamp of approval. Super easy; go to TJ’s and purchase anywhere between two and five salads and put ’em in the fridge. Take them to work. Take them to your appointment and eat in the car. These things come with a fork. So cool. Just pack a napkin and a water, and you are ready to go. I should also mention that these salads are fast food prices too.
- Shrimp & Surimi Louie Salad
- Crisp Pasadena Salad with Chicken

Yup, search a little, and you will uncover so many opportunities. Now, all you need is the motivation to do it, right? (wink!) Check out the video that follows. EZ Chef is back! xo JZ
