Organic is Overrated

That’s right.  I said it.  And I mean it.  Organic is over-rated. In fact, foods that are low in pesticide residues, you can save your pennies on.  For example, a bag of organic broccoli at Trader Joes is 40 cents more than non-organic.  Broccoli is a low pesticides food.  Same thing for Avocados.  Instead of spending $3.59 for a bag of organic avocados, spend $2.99 for non-organic, another low pesticides food.

I decided to put together a prelim list of common foods that should be organic vs. non-organic just for your information.  Use this list.  It is one that will save you a lot of money. Then, simply take that saved money and donate it to The City of Hope or St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.  Or do what you want with the extra cash.  No one should ever tell you what to do! 😉
