Quarantine Workout 3

Agility ladder work is so much fun. You can even create your own ladder with tape if you don’t have one. Either way, it is imperative to keep those bodies moving even during these difficult times. Perhaps a shortened workout as such might be best for some. Something is better than nothing. Workouts 1 and 2 involve total body moves. This third programming is more cardio based.

Drill 1: Run forward leading with the right foot

Drill 2: repeat drill one with the left foot

Drill 3: Frontal plane leading with the right foot

Drill 4: repeat drill three with the left foot

Drill 5: Transverse plane leading with right foot

Drill 6: repeat drill 5 with the left foot

Drill 7: forward 3 squares back one square leading with right foot

Drill 8: repeat drill 7 leading with left foot

Do this as a family. See who can do each drill the fastest. Use a timer. Whoever wins the round gets a point. You can have the racer do all 4 sets (2 each foot) OR you can have them do one set only. Play around with the terms of the race. Have fun. Whoever gets the most points has to clean the dishes, or do something around the house. What an incentive to win right? LOL!
