Wendy’s-Fast Food Friday
As I circle back to my Friday morning post, I reflect back on the delicious week I had. First and foremost, I had the most amazing review from Kirkus Reviews for Breaking the Chains of Obesity, 107 Tools. Do you own your copy yet? Here is yet another testimonial I received. They keep coming: “Life is good. Nutrition has been very solid and exercise over the last month has been averaging 6 days per week. I will jump on the scale tomorrow. I would love a new work out. I feel amazing and in a another month I will need a new wardrobe. I finished breaking the chains and I love the book. You did an amazing job.” This is from a busy financial executive who is always on the road, and is down 25 pounds in 5 weeks.
I will be forming a new category on on the side bar of this site for all media and reviews for your pleasure. I also had a fabulous presentation yesterday afternoon at Hamilton High School in front of 20 teenage students who sat and listened to my journey as a fitness expert and what my goal is; to break the chains of obesity in America! They listened attentively and during the gratitude circle afterward, every student said that they were thankful that I came. I seriously wanted to cry from joy. I want to thank J.K. Livin’ for inviting me to present yesterday. Children are our future and they are the ones who should model the healthy behaviors for subsequent generations, but also be modeled to by YOU exhibiting healthy behaviors. It is full circle, my fellow readers!
So, happy Friday! Make sure you reflect on your week and realize how much you’ve accomplished. Every day is a gift. Don’t throw your gifts away, and certainly don’t pollute your temple with poor nutrition. If you happen to be in a bind and you find yourself at Wendy’s, here are the JZ approved items that you can order:
Garden Sensation Salads: (all dressings on the side and ONLY use 2 tbsp)
Apple Pecan Chicken Salad
BLT Cobb Salad (don’t think that the bacon is a protein-it is pure fat, so use sparingly and easy on the blue cheese)
A non-salad choices:
Grilled Chicken Go Wrap (this will not completely fill you so if you do 2, ditch the bread on the second. This advice is ONLY good for the guys!)
Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe (I am not a big fan of this, but some of you will do it, so please do not double stack the meat and put the dressing on the side-this should only act as an in-between meal. Don’t gorge yourself, ayt?)
That’s all folks! Nothing else passed the test. And again, fast food ain’t optimal, so pack your meals and take them with you everywhere you go! Preparation is the key to a very healthy you. If you find yourself too busy, then read my book and learn about easy ways to get into the groove for a more optimal future. You wanna be healthy? Then make it happen now, not next year! xo JZ
