Trail mix for snack
For those days when you can’t get a perishable item in because you’re on the run, pack a healthy trail mix that I produced for your enjoyment. All you need is 1 small crate of organic blueberries, 2 cups of red cherries and 1 small bag of unsalted walnuts. Mix those items together, and whallah! This will make 5 servings at least.
Some other easy to grab snacks include:
1 medium apple and a fistful of almonds
1 Greek nonfat plain Yogurt (Chobani, Voskos or Fage) and 1/2 cup of berries (you can even grant yourself with 10 nuts your choice if you’d like)
5 large celery stalks with 2 tbsp of almond butter with several raisins each stalk
Variety mix of nuts that contain pistachios, almonds and cashews. 1 fistful is about a serving
Make sure you don’t skip your meals. You should eat small frequent meals throughout the day. Do not graze. You want to keep your metabolism regulated by not feeding yourself too much and certainly not feeding yourself too little throughout the day. Your goal is to eat throughout the day so that you never ever ever binge at night. Like never!!!! Okay?
