Make it Quickly-A Borage of Veggies and a Protein

No one has time. I get it. I know it. I am no less busy than any of you reading.  People want to know how I stay so fit and how I come up with awesome recipes that do not take me time to make.  Simple answer-I keep it all simple.  Today, I have so much to do, including write this blog post which takes time.  Everything in life takes time.  I say this. Make time for yourself no matter how busy life is-no one else will ever, and I mean ever, make time for you except for YOU.  I am not saying that any of these recipes take a lot of time, so why not take the short period of time that it takes to put some food on the grill and have some healthy meals for your week?  You deserve to be optimal.  Make it happen.

All I did was buy several ingredients from the market:

Chicken Sausage (gluten free and casing free)

Zucchini

Brussels sprouts

Empire lean turkey meat

Chopped onions

Taco seasoning

I have other things in my house, but the main things you need for this concept is a BBQ grill, propane gas tank (always stock up on extras so that you never run out) and of course the utensils for BBQing.  Check out how easy this is.

I started out with putting the already cooked chicken sausages on the grill for 5 minutes.  This adds BBQ grill flavor-awesome!

Then, I cut up the zucchini into slices, sprinkled some grapeseed oil and salt on them and put individual discs onto the grill for 8 minutes-yum!

Then, I put some grapeseed oil (2 tbsp) into the bag of sprouts and shook ’em up with some cayenne pepper and put those on the grill for 8 minutes.  Can I get a what what!!??

Last, I took the pan of raw turkey meat and put in some taco seasoning and some pre-diced onions directly in.  I mixed it with my hands and then slabbed 6 patties on the grill until fully cooked.

Less than 20 minutes later, and with 4 loads of laundry in the machines and my computer on with all my work awaiting, I have 3 full days of food ready.  So good.  You can mix and match the above things.  You can toss a chicken link into a salad or into eggs.  You can use the turkey burger patties and put them into lettuce wraps with perpperocinis for sandwiches.  There is so much to do with the ease of simply having the ingredients ready to go.
