Easy ways to go green!

I hear it again and again and again!  “It’s hard getting my greens in!”  No it isn’t my darling people!  It is as hard as you make it.  Or, is the problem that you don’t want greens in your diet?  I find it quite easy to get your greens in, as long as you strategically plan it.  Why do I emphasize greens so much?  Dark green leafy veggies provide you with good levels of Vitamin K.  Here are some of the amazing benefits that greens bring a healthy body:

  • Regulates blood clotting
  • Protects bones from osteoporosis
  • May help prevent and even reduce atherosclerosis by reducing calcium in arterial plaques
  • May regulate inflammation, and may help protect against  inflammatory diseases such as arthitis
  • May prevent diabetes

Leafy greens also keep the gastrointestinal tract strong.  A strong GI tract means less constipation, less debris build up (some people hold onto stool for years and don’t pass it-gross right?), less acid reflux, less hemorrhoids, less GI distress in general.  Getting your greens in may mean going to the grocery store and getting the Dole Salad kit that I have in my video down below.  You can also juice your greens.  You can even buy baby food in jars.  Just get those greens in.  By greens, I mean, spinach, lettuce, kale, and all the leafy items that most people fail to get in each day!  Strategize and then make it happen!
