So, I was at Trader Joe’s tonight and I cooked myself an amazing turkey burger patty. Super easy! Here’s what you need:
- Empire Kosher Lean Turkey Meat. Notice: LEAN!!!! Read the label
- TJ’s Frozen Fire Roasted Peppers and Onions
- Cayenne pepper OR paprika
- salt and pepper (just a dash)
- Any vegetable or even big green salad to eat on the side (you can even get a sweet potato and slice it into discs and bake sweet potato discs with a dash of olive oil and salt in the oven)
Chop up those tricolor peppers and onions, after defrosting them, and put them directly into the uncooked turkey meat. Then put all your spices on the burger, mixing it in thoroughly. I barbequed the burgers since I love the taste of summer. You can also choose to pan fry them using Pam nonfat cooking spray. This burger is so dang flavorful, anything will work.
Making lots of burgers gives you several meals or feeds several people. Flavor that lasts longer or creates more smiles. Good stuff!
