Quick Mahi Mahi dish from Trader Joes

Let’s walk away from the former phrase, “I don’t have time” and step into the realization that you can dive into a world of new recipes that take minutes to make.  A dream come true, right?  What can I say?  I care so deeply to help you in your quest for optimal health that I will continue sharing my recipe ideas with you.  If you have a request, simply private message me.  Otherwise, start thinking about planning your days out so that you take the guess work out of knowing what you wanna eat.  Stop waiting until you move into your day and wonder, “What will I eat? I’m starving!”

Make the change in yourself.  Go into your day prepared.  If you do not have a plan, you will always, and I mean always, struggle with optimal health.  Optimal health is a way of life.  Sub-optimal health and going through the motions of your day is far from optimal, but it may be more familiar to you.  You aren’t taking care of yourself when you skip meals, stay at your desk without stretching, skip water intake, skip sleep, and play into the drudgery of a long work day.  You aren’t being the person you claim you wish to be when you continue in that pattern.  So ask yourself, what do you need to shift to make this change happen?  What will you do first to promote the change that is necessary to live optimally?  Be very clear on the plan and then work the plan.  Stop holding back. Stop complaining about feeling crappy and do something about it.  No one wants to hear you complain.  Trust me.  People want to be around non-moody, positive people.  If you aren’t taking care of yourself, this just isn’t possible.  So, take my tools and use them.  Get Breaking the Chains of Obesity, 107 Tools and use it as often as you need it.  You can make such a difference for yourself and the sooner you just do it, the sooner you will feel like a million bucks.  Trust me!

So, here’s a very yummy meal.  Go to Trader Joes or any supermarket and look for the following ingredients:

  1. Wild Mahi Mahi and Veggies
  2. Wild Mahi Mahi frozen or fresh filets (5 oz a person)
  3. Jar of capers
  4. Frozen mixed veggies (your style)
  5. Lemon
  6. I can’t believe it’s not butter
  7. Garlic powder
  8. Fresh crushed garlic
  9. Cold compressed extra virgin olive oil
  10. Sweet potato is always an option

In a skillet,  put 2 tbsp of the olive oil in with the fresh crushed garlic and heat up the pan.  Then, after defrosting the fish under warm water for 3 minutes, put the fish into the skillet.  Cut up your lemon where you have 1/2 to squeeze over the fish and 2 slices to cut into the skillet to cook with the fish.  Put 1 tbsp of the butter on and sprinkle garlic powder.  Throw some capers on and cook until fish is cooked through.

In the meanwhile, get those frozen veggies and either steam them or nuke them.  You can add paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic or a little teaspoon of butter on them too.  Give yourself at least a cup of veggies.  In my video, I had less than a cup because I had to teach a Spin class so I didn’t want too much food in my gut.  I know my body very well and I want you to know yours well too!  It takes time and commitment.  You deserve an optimal life.  Starting living it and it will just B!
